Shawigan Lake is just 15 minutes away for swimming, boating, and summer fun, while downtown Victoria is 30 mins away. We have been up here for 17 years and in the past few years we have got into growing a big garden, raising chickens, and pigs. And our 3 cows. We love the Cowichan Valley and all it has to offer everything from fresh produce, wine and local cheese. Lots of farm stands, markets, cafes, and hiking, and biking.
